Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsfendiyar DARBAZ

He was born in Nicosia, in 1985. Primary (Güzelyurt Kurtuluş Primary School, 1991-1996), secondary (Şehit Turgut Secondary School, 1996-1999) and high school (20 Temmuz Science High School, 1999-2002) was completed in Cyprus. In 2007, he graduated from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Yüzüncü Yil with “first honor award” and “Veterinarian” was awarded the title. In the same year started his PhD studies in Ankara University, Institute of Health Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. In 2011, he completed his doctoral thesis on “Investigation of Udder Health and Milk Quality Parameters of Dairy Farm in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus” and took “Doctoral degree”.

After completing his doctorate education, he worked as a clinical and field veterinarian between 2011-2014. He also took part in the European Union Animal Husbandry Project in Northern Cyprus. On 10 November 2014, he started to work as a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Near East University. On 1st February 2016, he received the title of “Assistant Professor” and on 22nd February 2019, he received the title of “Associate Professor” in the same department. In 2019, he conducted research and studies for 4 months as a guest professor at the Obstetrics, Gynecology and Andrology Clinic of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Justus Liebig University in Giessen, Germany.
