The book “Goat from Breeding to Culture” published by Near East University has been put on sale.

In the book, edited by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kaymakçı, Prof. Dr. Dilek Arsoy and Dr. Eren Akçiçek, the place of goat in Turkish history, art, gastronomy, mythology and literature is explained culturally with 13 chapters and 16 different chapter authors. The breeding, health and welfare products of the goat are covered in a very wide technical perspective.

This book, in which all the topics related to goat and goat are collected, has a special section “Goat Breeding in Cyprus” in the book where you can find answers to many questions such as why goat is important in Turks and Turkish culture, how it should be raised, how happy goats are, what is its place in ancient culture and Turks, what are goat products, how it is used in gastronomy, how goat is used in art and literature.
