Prof. Dr. Dilek Arsoy from Near East University Contributes to Turkey’s First Veterinary Public Health Book.

Prof. Dr. Dilek Arsoy from the Department of Zootechnics at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Near East University, has made a significant academic contribution. She contributed a chapter titled “The Importance of Animal Breeding Systems in Healthy Animal Food Production” to the ‘All Aspects of Veterinary Public Health’ book, published and made available online by Türkiye Klinikleri.

Edited by Prof. Dr. Osman Yılmaz, this prestigious work is distinguished as the first of its kind in Turkey in this field. Covering a total of 36 different topics, the book is a collective effort of numerous academics. It sheds light on health problems encountered at the interface of animals, humans, and the environment, and on the concept of ‘One Health’ from a veterinary public health perspective, thereby fulfilling a significant need in this area.
