Sadjad Hijazi was born in 1980 in the city of Tabriz, Iran. He started his primary education in 1986 in Azarabadgan public school and in 1998 he completed the 12-year course of the school and entered the university in 1998 in the field of veterinary sciences. The university was established in the city of Tabriz. In 2004, he received his professional doctorate degree with an average grade of A. He defended his thesis titled "Study of morphometrics and stomach development in sheep embryos" with full marks. In the same year, he was accepted from the specialty doctorate in anatomy, histology and embryology and went to Tehran. In 2005, he joined the full-time faculty of the anatomy department from his previous university in Tabriz. In 2008, he completed his specialized doctorate thesis entitled "Study of histoanatomy and descent of the testis in goat embryos with full light".
He has published more than 50 research articles in international and domestic journals. In her research resume, 6 final research projects and supervision of more than 30 veterinary professional doctorate theses can be seen. During the period of membership in the university, he has been elected to the positions of the head of the anatomy department, the director of the basic sciences department, and a member of the educational and research councils of the faculty. In 2021, he was elected as a member of the Iran Veterinary antomists Association in the national election and became the main member of this council for three years. In 2019, he was nominated by Tabriz University as the selected researcher of the year in the field of veterinary medicine, and in 2022, he was nominated and honored as the best person at the New Ideas Festival. His artistic activities in the field of caricature and cartoon design can be mentioned. He has national and international awards in this artistic field.
