Near East University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Quality Policy
The Near East University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine adopts as a fundamental principle the operation of a transparent, participatory and accountable quality management system that embraces a culture of continuous improvement across its education-teaching, research-development, community service and administrative processes, and that is compliant with national and international quality and accreditation standards.
To this end, our Faculty is committed to:
- Training highly competent veterinarians through student-centred education programs with defined and measurable learning outcomes,
- Regularly monitoring and improving education-teaching processes in line with stakeholder views, performance indicators and feedback mechanisms,
- Adopting an approach in research and scientific activities that is committed to ethical principles, produces social benefit and is sustainable,
- Applying the principles of evidence-based decision-making, risk-based thinking and process management in academic and administrative processes,
- Strengthening the culture of self-assessment through internal and external quality assurance mechanisms,
- Supporting institutional development on the basis of EAEVE, VEDEK, YÖKAK and relevant national/international accreditation criteria,
- Encouraging participation and institutional communication in order to ensure that the quality assurance system is embraced by all stakeholders,
- Acting with a sense of responsibility towards society, animal health, public health and the environment.
Our Faculty regards quality not as an outcome but as a continuously ongoing process, and conducts all of its activities with this understanding.
