A) Mission
The mission of Near East University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is to protect animal health and welfare, to guarantee public health through the control of zoonotic diseases, and to train veterinarians who are committed to ethical values and based on scientific thinking. The Faculty aims to produce scientific knowledge and transform this knowledge into social benefit by acting in accordance with national and international standards in education-training, research, and community service activities.
The purpose of the Faculty's existence is to train veterinarians who approach animal, human, and environmental health with a holistic perspective, adopting the One Health perspective, capable of analytical thinking, sensitive to ethical values, and having a sense of lifelong learning. In this context, the faculty accepts the principles of scientific excellence, innovation, and social responsibility as its core values.
B) Vision
The vision of Near East University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is to be a research-oriented, innovative, and sustainable educational institution with national and international recognition. The Faculty aims to achieve a leading position in the field of veterinary medicine by bringing together scientific knowledge production, technological developments, and social responsibility awareness.
In line with this vision, the faculty maintains a quality management system compatible with the standards of the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE); it adopts the One Health approach that contributes holistically to animal, human, and environmental health. In the long term, it aims to be an academic center that is committed to ethical values, sensitive to the environment, produces innovative solutions, and contributes to the scientific development of society.

Aims and Objectives of the Faculty
A) General Aim
The aim of Near East University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is to train qualified veterinarians who adopt scientific, ethical, and contemporary values in the field of veterinary medicine and handle animal, human, and environmental health with a holistic approach. The Faculty aims to become an academic institution with national and international competitive power by increasing quality in the fields of education, research, and social contribution.
