Near East University to Bring Veterinarians Together in Kyrenia!

Near East University academics, who made two important presentations at the 28th European Domestic Animal Reproduction Conference held in Bulgaria, also publicized the 9th International Farm Animal Fertility and Mammary Health Congress, to be held in Kyrenia in 2026.

Prof. Dr. İsfendiyar Darbaz, Dean of the Near East University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, represented Near East University at the “28th Anniversary Conference” of the European Domestic Animal Reproduction Association (ESDAR) held in Varna, Bulgaria. Prof. Dr. Darbaz, who attended the conference with Prof. Dr. Selim Aslan, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Near East University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, addressed current developments in the field on an international level with his scientific presentations.

The European Domestic Animal Reproduction Association Conference, considered one of the most prestigious organizations in the field of veterinary medicine, brought together scientists from around the world this year. The conference, through which current developments in the reproductive biology of domestic animals were discussed, aimed to maintain current knowledge in physiology, pathology, and biotechnology, as well as traditional veterinary practices.

The conference also announced that the “9th International Conference on Fertility and Udder Health in Farm Animals” will be held from April 23–26, 2026, under the leadership of the Near East University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

The conference also announced the “9th International Conference on Fertility and Udder Health in Farm Animals,” to be hosted by Near East University. The conference, to be held in Kyrenia from April 23–26, 2026, will bring together numerous academics, researchers, and industry representatives with expertise in the field.

The congress, which first initiated in 2014 by Prof. Dr. Selim Aslan and held annually as part of the “Spring Days in Veterinary Medicine” tradition, will be brought to life on a broader platform with international participation. The conference will serve as an international meeting point for the sharing of scientific knowledge and experience in veterinary medicine. The Congress Organizing Committee includes Prof. Dr. Selim Aslan, Prof. Dr. İsfendiyar Darbaz, and Assist.
