I was born in Malatya, Turkey. I completed my primary and secondary education across various cities in Türkiye; this process provided me with a broad cultural and academic perspective.
I successfully completed my higher education at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, in 2021. Subsequently, I enrolled in the Ph.D. program in the Department of Veterinary Pathology, the field that interested me most for its role as a bridge between basic and clinical sciences. I completed my doctoral studies in 2025, earning the title of Doctor (Dr.), by successfully defending my thesis titled “Investigation of the Effects of Bacopa Monnieri on Angiogenesis, Apoptosis, and Oxidative Stress in the Tumor Microenvironment in the AOM-DSS Cancer Model in Mice.”
Throughout my academic career, I have placed great importance on international experience and foreign language proficiency. During my undergraduate studies, I was selected for the ERASMUS+ student exchange program at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Università degli Studi di Perugia, Italy, for 11 months between 2016 and 2017, where I successfully completed my coursework in Italian. I maintained this international focus during my Ph.D. by ranking first in the ERASMUS+ exchange exams on two separate occasions. This allowed me to participate in Pathology courses and practicals for 9 months at the Università di Camerino in Italy, and successfully complete a 2-month Pathology internship program at Vetmeduni in Austria. The knowledge and experience I gained during these processes have enabled me to familiarize myself with national and international academic circles and develop my expertise according to global standards.
My primary scientific interests include Veterinary Pathology, experimental oncology, tumor microenvironment, immunohistochemistry, and the effects of natural compounds on pathological processes. I have published articles in various scientific journals and presented oral and/or poster communications at national and international congresses.
Since October 2025, I have been serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Pathology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Near East University. My desire to generate knowledge and transfer it to my young colleagues guides my academic endeavors.
