Halil Doruk Kaynarca completed his thesis titled “Determination of the Effects of Different Packaging Methods on Microbiological, Physicochemical, Sensory Properties and Shelf Life of Samarella”. Kaynarca’s thesis supervisor was NEU Department of Food Hygiene and Technology head of department Prof. Dr. Canan Hecer. He was the first student to complete the PhD of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine established in 2009.
