Hazel Tamakan Yeşilovalı was born in Nicosia in 1993. After completing my primary education at Özgürlük Primary School and secondary and high school education at Güzelyurt Turkish Maarif College, she started undergraduate education at Ankara University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She completed her undergraduate education in 2016 and started her doctorate education at the Near East University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Microbiology, in the same year. In 2022, she was awarded the title of Doctor of Science by defending her doctoral thesis on 'Investigation of the Presence of Staphylococcus pseudintermedius in Clinical Samples of Cats and Dogs with Bacteriological and Molecular Methods'. She was appointed as Assistant Professor at Near East University in 2023. Currently, she continues to give lectures in the Laboratory and Veterinary Health Technician program of the Vocational School of Health Services and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
