Mehmet Pilli was born in Güzelyurt in 1991. He graduated from Nicosia Turkish High School in 2010 and Near East University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Then, he started his doctoral education at the Near East University Institute of Health Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Surgery, and has been working at Near East University since 2016. In 2023, he received the title of Doctor of Science.

Dr. Mehmet Pilli has articles in national and international indexed journals and presentations at congresses and symposiums. Mehmet Pilli's academic interests include general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, radiology and imaging techniques.
