Gül Çıray Akbaş Güngör was born in Kyrenia in 1991. She graduated from Bülent Ecevit Anatolian High School in 2009 and Near East University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Then, she started her Phd education at Near East University Institute of Graduate Studies in Veterinary Faculty, Department of Surgery in 2016. She gets the title of Doctor of Science in 2023.

Dr. Gül Çıray Akbaş Güngör has articles in national and international indexed journals and presentations at congresses and symposiums. Her academic interests include general surgery (soft tissue surgery), ophthalmology, ear-nose-throat diseases, radiology and imaging techniques.
