Halit ŞÜKÜR completed his thesis titled “Characterization and Determination of some Properties Coagulase Negative Staphylococci Isolated from Various Animal Sources in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus’. Halit ŞÜKÜR’s supervisor was Prof. Dr. Ömer Memduh ESENDAL, Head of Microbiology Department. He was the first student to complete the PhD programme of the Department of Microbiology and second PhD student of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine established in 2009.
