Assoc. Dr. Wayne J. Fuller’s research paper on “Kythrean Sage” has recently published.

Associate Professor Dr. Wayne J. Fuller from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, recently co-authored a publication entitled Abundance and spatial distribution analysis of Salvia veneris: a critically endangered plant species endemic to Cyprus in the journal “Biodiversity”. The paper investigates the current population status of the this critically endangered endemic plant (Kythrean Sage) and reassesses its IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) red listing status. The research work was the MSc thesis subject of lead author Izel Hacioğullari and was further enhanced through the collaborative work of Professors Salih Gucel and Ozge Ozden.
