Assist.Prof.Dr. Hüban GÖÇMEN has participated in the 18th ESCMID Summer School which was held in Liverpool, UK and successfully represented Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Near East University.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Hüban GÖÇMEN of Near East University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Microbiology has been participated in the 18th European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) Summer School held in Liverpool, UK on 29 June-6 July 2019 and has been awarded the ‘Diagnosis of Staphylococcus intermedius Group (SIG) from clinical samples of cat and dogs by Bacteriological and Molecular Methods and Investigation of Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus pseudintermedius (MRSP)’.

ESCMID Summer School Programme covered a broad range of topics in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases and interested young MDs at the end of their speciality training as well as veterinarians, biologists, pharmacists, PhD students and postdoctoral fellows working in the infection field. Near East University and Liverpool University, representing the Veterinary Faculties, participated with the participants from the distinguished universities of the world and our country was represented successfully.
